Frontline Friends transforms NDIS support through gaming and technology in Western Sydney. We build genuine connections with young adults with autism, neurodivergent experiences, or anyone who’s ever felt different or disconnected, using shared interests to establish trust. From there, we focus on developing real friendships, confidence, social skills, and independence in a fun, supportive environment.
We know what it’s like to feel misunderstood or out of place. That’s why Frontline Friends creates a space where members can connect, relax and grow. Through shared gaming experiences, teaming up in co-op missions, exploring virtual worlds or just having a laugh, we build trust and use those moments to grow real-life skills like social connection, independence and self-confidence. It’s not just about the games. It’s about belonging, having fun, and finding your people.

As a support worker, I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference Frontline Friends makes. The space is safe, welcoming, and perfectly suited for autistic kids and those with ADHD. Through gaming — whether it’s consoles, VR, or board games — the participants aren’t just having fun, they’re learning teamwork, building confidence, and developing social skills in a natural way. What I really value is that the approach never feels clinical or forced. It’s person-centred, respectful, and genuinely enjoyable for the kids. Families often tell me how much more engaged their children are since joining. I would highly recommend Frontline Friends to any parent or carer looking for meaningful support that works in the real world.Posted on DukeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Social gaming sessions delivered from our dedicated gaming hub. Each session follows a clear routine while remaining responsive to each participant’s needs, interests, and capacity on the day. Participants receive 1:1 support from a support worker while engaging alongside others in a calm, well-supervised setting.
Sessions support routine, social connection, confidence, and community participation through shared interests in gaming. Sessions are offered on a weekly or fortnightly basis to encourage meaningful engagement over time.
Community access supports delivered through shared interests and activities, including gaming-related outings and social experiences outside the home. Sessions focus on building confidence, social connection, and independence in real-world settings, with participants supported to explore the community together rather than tackling it alone.
As confidence and readiness grow, activities may expand into broader interests such as fitness, fishing, adventures, and other community-based experiences.
Low-pressure trial sessions designed to help participants and families see whether Frontline Friends is the right fit. Trials are relaxed, supportive, and give participants the opportunity to experience a session, meet staff, and feel comfortable in the environment before committing.
Pick-up and drop-off support is available where required and delivered in line with NDIS transport guidelines, making it easier for participants to attend sessions safely and consistently. Ongoing sessions can be discussed following a successful trial, based on individual goals and funding arrangements.
At Frontline Friends, we’re not just support workers. We’re gamers, tech lovers, and people who genuinely understand what it’s like to feel different. Our team brings together a mix of lived experience, patience, and creativity to support young adults with low support needs in a way that feels real, relaxed and respectful. We meet players where they’re at, building trust through shared interests instead of checklists.
We focus on strengths, not labels. We believe support should feel like someone’s in your corner. With consistent teammates, fun hangouts and interest-based sessions, we aim to build confidence, independence and real friendships that last beyond the session.
Frontline Friends was created for people who feel different, disconnected, or unsure where they fit. I know that feeling personally, and I built this space so others don’t have to face it alone.
With a background in the Australian Army and youth services, I’ve spent years supporting people in challenging situations and working alongside young people with diverse needs. That experience shapes how Frontline Friends operates today — with clear structure, strong role models, and support that feels human, calm, and respectful.
Why “Frontline Friends”

Real progress happens when you have people beside you, sharing experiences, building confidence, and moving forward together. Frontline Friends exists to stand alongside participants, turning everyday challenges into opportunities for connection, growth, and meaningful participation in the community.
