Meet the Team

Meet Zuey
Gamer, Musician & Neurodivergent Advocate

Zunun, but everyone calls me Zuey. I’m the founder of Frontline Friends and someone who’s been on a journey of learning how to connect with others through shared passions like gaming, music, and movement. As someone who’s neurodivergent, I know what it’s like to feel different or disconnected, and that’s why I care so much about creating spaces that feel safe, inclusive and relaxed for others.

Gaming, especially co-op games, has always been one of my favorite ways to connect with people and build friendships. My top 5 games are Skyrim, Runescape, Age of empires, CS2 and Rust. I also play guitar and accordion, and I’m learning piano. Music helps me slow down and express myself. I train in MMA too, which gives me structure and a healthy outlet to stay grounded.

Before starting Frontline Friends, I spent a decade in the military and youth services where I learned how to communicate clearly, support others and work as a team. Those experiences shaped how I approach support work today, especially when it comes to helping young adults with low support needs feel confident, heard and genuinely accepted. Frontline Friends isn’t just about NDIS support. It’s about helping people grow through connection, shared interests and a community that truly gets them.

Meet David
Calm, Kind and always ready to Help

David is one of our most chilled and down-to-earth teammates. He’s 20, a passionate support worker, and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel relaxed, included and supported, especially when they’re new or feeling a bit unsure. Whether he’s helping someone load into a new game or encouraging them through a first-time outing, David brings patience, calm energy, and a friendly vibe to every session.

He’s big on healthy gaming and keeping a good life balance. You’ll usually find him playing Minecraft, Fortnite, EA sports games and also exploring new games on the VR and Console. But when he’s not gaming, he’s outdoors fishing, going on quiet adventures, or just spending time at home with family.

David is also super knowledgeable about land-based fishing and loves sharing tips or planning relaxed day trips when players want to try something different. He believes the best support comes from just being present, honest, and treating people with respect, no pressure, just good connection.
